Household Books is a new type of bookstore for people who love the old type of bookstore and is the result of a long journey toward an imagined idea of home. We celebrate the culture of the book and the ability the micro-luxury of used book hunting has to support greater community needs.

In 2023, while continuing to Pop Up with different collaborators at unique locations, Household has used our Walnut Hills space to host live music, private events, writing groups, art, comedy, and educational lectures.  We have provided meeting space to educators, social workers, non-profits, students and artists and, of course, we have been thrilled to welcome many many book lovers.

We have a forthcoming Membership program, are continuing to find new ways to share space and cultivate community, we are eager to discover what new partnerships, friends, and adventures await.
